While other golf apparel brands were stressing synthetic fabrics, aggressive PGA Tour looks, or fratty bachelor weekends, Ashworth got in touch with the soul of the game on some of its most naturally beautiful courses. Our idea, A Path of Our Own, reflected that more meaningful approach and was executed with the Golf/Man website and printed "magalogue" - a magazine/catalogue hybrid - that featured the latest Ashworth apparel along with Travel+Leisure-worthy articles, content and photography at destination courses.

Golf/Man Interactive Site Walk Through - In an industry dominated by one-dimensional product sites, we sought to deliver an immersive digital experience that replicates an unforgettable golf weekend. Leveraging our brand's natural fit with raw, links-style courses, each digital edition featured a mix of in-depth articles, snack-able content, breathtaking imagery, cinematic short films and real-time social integration, all while showcasing Ashworth product as part of a larger brand narrative.

The printed Golf/Man "magalogue" magazine/catalogue hybrid that paired Ashworth product launches with a visit to a premier golf course.

With the magalogue, we wanted to give duffers a tactile, tangible piece of content they could take on a long golf weekend to look at on the plane, in the hotel lobby or while waiting for a tee time. One that's so engaging they forget they're looking at a catalogue in the first place. After golfers finished with it, they could pass it to their friends, or keep it as a collector's item.

Intro I wrote for the third edition of the Golf/Man website and magalogue.

Copy reads:

We don’t want our courses manicured.

With manmade waterfalls.

And chemically-colored turf.

Give us a round that's off the beaten path.

With bunkers that block the sky.

Narrow fairways. Perplexing greens.

Windblown and rugged.

We’ll take the day of travel to earn stories,

On courses that make us search deeper.

 In our own unique style.
